“I have done two interval workouts, and wow, I am hooked! I am no stranger to exercise, but I have always struggled with cardio, feeling it was either too boring and/or too strenuous and unpleasant. “Now I have an announcement, I have been using the momentum system for nine weeks now and I am NO LONGER over a hundred pounds overweight. “Over the last year I had lost 30 pounds of body clutter. Through babysteps I had worked my way from 10 minutes on the treadmill to 60 minutes. Yup, I was spending an hour on the treadmill 5-6 times a week. In July I noticed that I wasn't loosing any more weight, and this was incredibly frustrating, I still had 50 pounds to lose. “Momentum is Changing My Life. I listened to Jonathan's show on the radio with Flylady and my life changed that day. Here was this personal trainer telling us any movement was good movement, and he was genuinely proud of the ladies he spoke with. He spoke of how today can be our January 1st. “How in the world can an exercise/fitness program be called a video game? Isn't exercise supposed to be boring, tiring, time consuming and frustrating? I had no idea what I was ordering three weeks ago when I ordered the Momentum System and e-mailed Jonathan.
When it came in the mail, I thought, ok, this is different. The watch is actually a sophisticated computer. With my heart monitor, it tells me not only my heart rate in real time but if I've hit my target heart rates during exercise, how long I exercised at my target heart rate and my estimated calories burned.
We all know about vicious cycles that can spiral us down but we can flip that cycle upside down and that spiral will bring us up to the top of that mountain that Jonathan talks about.
I am baby stepping my way there by exercising and plugging the results online and seeing my efforts. It is making me WANT to keep exercising and keep adding my information and seeing my results. Instead of a vicious cycle, it is a blessing cycle.

“Quitting Smoking & Using the Momentum System. Armed with my shiny sink and my lace up shoes I set my quit date of October 7th. Now this is not the first time I have quit smoking and most of us know about the weight gain, we replace the cigarettes with food and I am already 75lbs over weight and the last thing I need is more of is body clutter!
So I dust off all of my old exercise stuff, and vowed to use the equipment and workout DVDs I already own but I am struggling, I have a millions excuses not to work out and I just keep eating.
Then the email arrives in my inbox inviting me to listen to our Jonathan's No Excuses BlogTalkRadio show. So I listen to his show, download the free workouts and almost 2 weeks into my new workouts I have not gained any weight, I DID NOT GAIN A SINGLE POUND! This to me is a huge success.
The free workouts are great and I tell myself the FlyLady would never steer me wrong, so I go ahead and order the Momentum weight loss system. I put in the DVD and I was so relieved to see Jonathan standing there telling me to just do as many as I can, if you cannot do 15 just do 2, do as many as you can. I can hear his voice as I type this saying, you can do it!
His DVDs are great and I love the fact that he is not some cheesy guy with an accent surrounded by Barbie dolls, he is a real person sweating along with me telling me you can do it!
So this brings me to today, I weigh myself on Fridays with the goal of staying on track over the weekend, today when I stepped on the scale and it tells me I have lost 5 pounds! This cannot be! I must have stepped on and off that scale six or seven times but it still kept telling me I had lost 5lbs, I am still in shock! I know this time I am making a lifestyle change because I have two of best cheerleaders a gal could have.
